The Premier Modern Workforce Management Event
Time Fundamentals: Learned key components of a timesheet, how to tie Time to business rules, adjusted Time for previous periods, got an overview of users, roles, and delegations, and navigated System Administration functions.
Time Basic Configuration: Understood the Policy Editor and its purpose, performed maintenance functions for pay codes, made changes to current exception and email messages, and modified timesheet periods and bank displays.
Time Advanced Configuration: Added new pay codes to reflect changes in business activities, created new exception messages to handle business process updates, created new premium calculations for employee transactions, and updated banks, accruals, and time-off policies.
Data Schema Essentials: Discovered where Time data is stored in the WorkForce database, learned how to query database tables for employee, assignments, and timesheet data, utilized the Time Data Dictionary, and created queries for reports.
Report Writer Development: Explored how Time and SAP Crystal Reports work together, got an introduction to report policy configuration, built and integrated reports from scratch, templates, or customizations, and translated reports into different languages.
Job Scheduling Configuration: Learned how to obtain the documents and instances needed to configure Job Scheduling, identified key configuration points, and applied best practices and tips for Job Scheduling configuration.
Absence Configuration: Gained expertise in making changes to basic configuration, testing, and troubleshooting Absence configuration, addressing process changes by modifying workflow events, informing users and employees with custom email notifications, and customizing required documents.
Benefits of The WorkForce REST API Collection - Simplicity, Scale, and Power: Explored the lightweight, fast, and scalable REST API framework for WorkForce Software. Learned to enhance workforce solutions, understood REST vs. SOAP benefits, and troubleshooted effectively in this hands-on, business-focused course.
